Matteo Poggio

Co-founder

Matteo Poggio is an event professional with over 10 years of experience in the event technology, audio-visual production, and roles such as engineer, technical director, and production manager, with problem-solving, technical, and managerial skills.

During his career Matteo had the opportunity to travel the world, he speaks three languages (Italian, English, French).

In 2024, Matteo co-founded Fenix Event Tech, a natural extension of his career in event technology, and a realisation of his professional ambitions.

Pablo Bonales

Co-founder

Pablo embarked on his career in events in 2014, diving into the world of audiovisual production. In 2013, he relocated from Spain to Sydney, Australia, where his passion for events was ignited. Honing his expertise in technical production, he built a solid reputation in the industry, and transitioned to event technology in 2019. After returning to Spain, he has delivered events spanning America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Exposure to diverse cultures has enriched his professional approach and strategic mindset. In addition to his event career, Pablo has developed a strong passion for coding and programming, venturing into front-end development in 2022.

In 2024, Pablo co-founded Fenix Event Tech, where he puts into action his devotion to cutting-edge technology, innovation, and the world of events.

Pablo Bonales

Co-founder

In addition to his event career, Pablo has developed a strong passion for coding and programming, venturing into full-stack development and system integrations in 2022.

Laura Signori

Project Manager

Laura Signori is an event producer/ operations manager, event showcaller, and communications consultant. She sometimes translates between languages but more often than not she ‘translates’ between people. She didn’t choose events, events chose her – and she gladly went with it, delivering a multitude of events in Italy and abroad. She has an Italian BA in Languages in Literatures – English, French, and Russian – and a French professional MA in International Relations with a specialization in Communications. Laura is based in Milan, Italy, where she was born, and she is also Croatian from her mother’s side.

Sandro Torchio

Project Manager

Sandro has been working in the AV industry since 1996 as a freelancer for the major AV companies of Milan, Italy. From 2010 to 2013, he worked in Sydney, Australia at the SCEC (Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre), overseeing hundreds of projects. In 2015, he worked at EXPO2015 during the setup phase and throughout the six months of the event for various pavilions, serving as the media content and related hardware manager. In 2016, he founded a company in Italy that operates in two sectors: the first branch provides communication services and innovative technologies, while the second focuses on 3D surveying and inspections for the industrial and civil sectors, developing cutting-edge solutions. With Fenix, Sandro has overseen a long list of events, both in person around the world, and virtual.
